Extensive inspections and preparation come as standard with every YOU Yamaha Motor Certified Pre-Owned motorcycle or scooter. It is the quality and benchmark you naturally expect from Yamaha, and additionally comes with warranty and road side assistance in the unlikely event of an issue.
An Authorised Yamaha Dealer will conduct a full mileage investigation, ensure that the previous owner has paid off any outstanding finance, and will check that the motorcycle or scooter has not been stolen or subject to an insurance write-off.
It's only a Yamaha Certified Pre-Owned motorcycle or scooter if it passes an extensive mechanical inspection. Performed by an approved Yamaha-trained Technician, it provides complete peace of mind to meet the standards you expect from Yamaha.
Only Yamaha Pre-Owned motorcycle or scooter will receive a 12 month Certified Yamaha Motor Pre-Owned Warranty and Yamaha Motor Roadside Assistance if it has passed all necessary meticulous preparation and inspections.
Should your YOU Yamaha Motor Certified Pre-Owned machine fail it’s MOT, you can claim up to £500 towards repairs, replacements or adjustments of components that are necessary to ensure it passes (excluding the cost of the MOT, one MOT per 12-month period), including: Suspension, Registration plates, Lighting equipment, Braking system and Steering – please refer to your YOU Yamaha Motor Certified Pre-Owned warranty policy booklet for full terms and conditions and coverage. Note: Only applicable for machines over 3 years old and with policies registered after 1st May 2026.
You can extend your YOU Yamaha Motor Certified Pre-Owned warranty by a further 12 months at the point of purchase, with the same level of cover, to provide even more peace of mind, added value and potentially increased residual value should you chose to sell your machine in the future. Note: Only applicable to units with policies registered after 1st May 2026.
