This year’s R125 is kitted out with next-level tech. You can hook up your phone via Bluetooth to see music info, get call and message alerts, and sync with Yamaha’s MyRide app. Even better, once connected, you’ll have turn-by-turn navigation and live destination weather info displayed on the stunning 5" full-color TFT screen. The bike also features incredible LED lighting inspired by the jaw-dropping R7, giving it a sleek, aggressive look. And when it comes to safety, it’s got ABS and traction control to keep you steady no matter the conditions.
On the performance side, the R125 is a beast. The engine uses Yamaha’s variable valve tech (VVA) to squeeze every ounce of power from every rev. It’s got plenty of kick for any learner and just keeps pushing on. Gear changes are smooth and easy thanks to the assist and slipper clutch, while the suspension – with 41mm KYB upside-down forks up front and a link-type shock in the rear – keeps you comfy and in control.
