he MT-09 is a bike that delivers plenty of attitude,
combining Yamaha’s hugely characterful 890cc CP3 triple with a lightweight,
agile chassis and sharp, aggressive styling. With 119 PS and 93 Nm of torque,
there’s no shortage of performance, while the latest-generation electronics,
quickshifter and cruise control make it just as easy to live with day to day.
The MT-09 has that addictive three-cylinder engine character that gives it a
distinctive feel, with strong low-down torque and an exciting top end. Add in
the quality suspension, Brembo radial master cylinder and lean-sensitive rider
aids, and you have a modern naked bike that’s as entertaining on a twisty road
as it is practical for everyday riding.
