The latest R7 takes Yamaha’s popular middleweight Supersport
formula and adds a serious step up in technology and refinement. Powered by the
characterful 689cc CP2 twin, it delivers strong, usable performance while
keeping the lightweight, agile feel that makes the R7 so enjoyable on the road.
The 2026 model brings R1-inspired electronics, including a 6-axis IMU,
customisable riding modes, traction, slide and lift control, plus Yamaha’s
third-generation quickshifter. Add the sharper R-Series styling, refined
aerodynamics, upgraded chassis and 5-inch TFT display, and you have a modern
sports bike that looks every bit as good as it rides.
